Malgeum Support

Malgeum turns weather data into practical guidance for umbrellas, clothing, exercise, ventilation, air quality, UV, and pollen. The app supports English and Korean on Android and iOS.

Getting started

• Location is optional. Allow location access for local weather, or choose a city manually during onboarding or from Settings.
• Notifications are optional. Enable or disable each alert in Malgeum Settings and manage system permission in your device settings.
• Weather needs an internet connection to refresh. When a refresh is unavailable, the app may show the most recently cached forecast.

Widgets

iPhone

Touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Add Widget, search for Malgeum, select a size, and add it. Open Malgeum once after installation so the widget can receive current app data.

Android

Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, choose Widgets, find Malgeum, and drag a widget to the Home Screen. If updates are delayed, check that the system is not restricting Malgeum's background activity.

AI and letters

Ask Malgeum answers practical questions using the weather and settings relevant to the request. AI output can be inaccurate, so review it before relying on it.

Letters for cloudy days turns your interview answers into an editable draft. You decide whether to send it through your device's mail app. Malgeum does not store the recipient email address entered in the mail composer.

Subscription help

• Purchases and renewals are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
• To use an existing subscription after reinstalling or changing devices, use Restore purchases from Malgeum's subscription screen while signed in to the same store account used for purchase.
• To cancel, open your Apple or Google account's subscription settings. Deleting Malgeum or deleting its anonymous account does not cancel a store subscription.
• If the store shows an active subscription but Malgeum does not, include the platform and app version in your support email. Do not send a full receipt or payment-card information.

Delete your account and data

1. Open the Settings tab.
2. Scroll to the About section.
3. Tap Delete account and data.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete.
